CHOBE MARINA LODGE / BOTSWANA ACCOMMODATION |
 |
 |
The Chobe Marina Lodge is located in the North Eastern corner of Botswana where four great African countries meet: Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana and Namibia. At the Chobe Marina Lodge guests are surrounded by the beauty of nature. All sixty of the river facing bedrooms provide the unique African atmosphere. River and land excursions at Chobe are offered to guests.
Botswana is a land of staggering beauty with a small population; it is ideally located in the heart of Southern Africa. It is bordered in the north and west by Namibia, in the east by Zimbabwe and South Africa is its southern neighbour.
Situated on the Chobe River near the borders of Zambia, Zimbabwe and Namibia and at the confluence of the Chobe and Zambezi Rivers, Kasane is a bustling little town offering access to the Chobe National Park. As there are no boundary fences between the park and the village, game such as elephant and hippo can frequently be seen wandering down the road.
The Chobe National Park in Zambia covers 11,000 sq km and has one of the greatest concentrations of game found on the African continent. It also contains the highest concentration of elephants in the world, with an estimated population of around 25 000.
Guests will encounter Africa's wild animals up close and personal on the game drives. Photographic opportunities are fantastic, sunset moments are plentiful and with the more than 45 000 elephant that reside within the Chobe National Park in Zambia, guests are guaranteed to experience an adventure never to be forgotten.
