★ ★ ★

The Bundox Safari Lodge nestles in a private reserve 42 km away from Hoedspruit in the Greater Kruger National Park region of South Africa's Limpopo Province.

This Bundox safari lodge is surrounded by big five game reserve. With the Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport being only a short drive away, the lodge is readily available for fly-in guests. A self-drive by road from Johannesburg takes about 5 hours.

The Bundox features various accommodation types which include two Chalets, two Luxury Tents as well as three Safari Tents. Couples, as well as families travelling with children, are accommodated in comfort in either of these room types.

The Luxury Tents and the Chalets nestle among the native bushes and trees offering an incredible nature experience where privacy can be enjoyed.

The Waterbuck and Nyala Luxury Bundox Tents are Meru-style canvas suites featuring wooden floors. The decks lead to the self-catering outdoor kitchen areas. Complete with en-suite bathrooms which offer baths and outdoor showers, the Luxury Tents offer king-size beds, clothing storage, and a private boma outside.

At the bush camp, refreshing sundowners, as well as tea and coffee, can be enjoyed, while the African outdoor boma makes for a fabulous setting at night when guests sit around the campfire under the starlit skies. With no dangerous wildlife on the lodge's reserve, guests can walk freely between their accommodation and the main lodge, boma and swimming pool at any time of the day or night. The lodges surrounding vegetation is home to many birds as well as antelope which make their way through the property.

Located in a private reserve 40km from Hoedspruit, this lodge enjoys easy access to the nearby Kruger National Park and the many attractions of the Panorama Route. Thrilling safari drives in the neighbouring reserves allow guests to encounter Africa's untamed Big Five in their natural habitat.
