Camp Xakanaxa, Botswana, is on the side of the Khwai River adjacent to the Xakanaxa Lagoon, within the Moremi Game Reserve offers an African safari experience to remember forever.

Xakanaxa has all year round, land and river safaris offer sightings of an extensive variety of African wildlife in the most natural surroundings.

You will be attended to by experienced staff who are always willing to inform you about the natural surroundings. With a limit of just twenty-four guests to ensure a very personal experience, designed to accommodate your needs.

Twelve spacious living areas, based in Meru safari tents, each with an en-suite shower, sink and toilet facilities and the use of the wooden furnishings will welcome you with a cosy, rustic feel. Each tent has a private viewing area, with comfortable outside furniture enabling you to watch the wildlife as it passes your room.

The Xakanaxa camp main building, which is made with local timber, reed and thatch work, is based at the side of the Khwai River giving impressive views of the surrounding area adjacent to lagoons and islands, perfectly located for wildlife viewing. The plunge pool allows you to freshen yourself before dinner, where after you may choose to sit around the fireplace and listen to the sounds of the African bush.

The large pool will entice you to swim at your leisure and sit by its side on the raised sun-deck and relax in the pure Botswana air.

Lions, Hippo, Giraffe, Hyena, Elephants, Kudu, Leopards all have been spotted in the area and are possible to view from either the land or water safaris available. Licensed experienced guides will assist you to detect as many sightings as possible each day ensuring many memorable moments.
