Chameleon Hill is situated 12.6 kilometres away from the centre of Kisoro and with the nearest airport being 336.1 kilometres away (Entebbe International Airport), this remote wilderness retreat provides a magnificent location from where to best enjoy the scenery and from where to experience exciting gorilla tracking tours.

Situated off of the beaten path in Uganda, tourists to this remote country in Africa will find the Chameleon Hill Lodge a gateway to the discovery of a breathtakingly beautiful region which holds many pearls in the 'Pearl of Africa'.

Comfortable rooms accommodate travellers from all over the world in this natural paradise of Uganda. Ten chalets are available from which unobstructed vistas across the lake can be admired. An artistic touch sets the tone throughout the private and public areas of this lodge. Each of the chalets is individually decorated offering either one Double or two separate Twin beds. The wooden decks of the cottages welcome guests for rest.

When stepping through the doors of the castle entering the main lodge, guests are welcomed with utmost comfort. In the dining area, visitors enjoy an excellent breakfast, lunch and memorable dinner. The professional chef can accommodate special dietary requirements. International cuisine with local flavours and spices are served surrounded by nature.

The lounge features a fireplace and offers the ideal location for socialising and relaxation. For guests convenience, room service and a turndown service is available. Travellers enjoy easy access to Uganda's Mgahinga Gorilla Park as well as to the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

It is on both of these parks where gorillas can be tracked and where travellers have the once in the lifetime opportunity to encounter gorillas in their natural habitat. Hikes through the surrounding villages, the nearby hills and lakes are highly recommended to visitors. Dugout boat outings, as well as excellent birding activities, can also be enjoyed here.
