Entabeni Safari Conservancy is located Less than a three-hour drive north of Johannesburg and Pretoria, the scenic 22 000 ha malaria-free, "Big Five" Entabeni Game Reserve to home to five unique eco-systems

The upper mountain of the Entabeni Conservancy offers spectacular rock formations as well as extensive open grass fields.

This wilderness area is away from the reserves lower plateau by 610 meters high cliff. The Entabeni lower escarpment is about three degrees warmer and features sandy wetlands.

The lodge offers guests far more than the usual game sightings of the Big Five. Additional thrilling and relaxing activities such as scenic helicopter flights, spa treatments, stargazing in the observatory, sunset lake cruises and a variety of wildlife viewing activities to enjoy. The Conservancy is home to five different safari lodges, namely the Hanglip Mountain Lodge, Kingfisher Lodge, Lakeside Lodge, Ravineside Lodge and Wildlife Lodge.

Lakeside Lodge is a grand lodge to visit if you were travelling as a family & not looking for anything over the top. The staff is friendly, and the rangers are very knowledgeable. The safari drives were exhilarating; especially the trip from the upper escarpment down to the lower mountain. A stay at the Reserve is bound to be fun-filled and memorable.

This Reserve has become a favourite conference and team-building 'bush getaway'. The conference venues on the Upper Escarpment are at the Lakeside and Ravineside Lodges with a smaller facility situated on the Lower Escarpment at the Wildside Safari Camp.

The conference venues are air-conditioned, offer standard conference equipment and provide breakaway areas located in gardens from where scenic views of the spectacular Waterberg Mountains, open plains, and Lake Entabeni can be enjoyed.

Lakeside Lodge

The Lakeside Lodge lies on the banks of Entabeni Lake on the upper mountain of this magnificent Safari Conservancy. The elegant en-suite bedrooms are connected to the restaurant, reception, conference and boma with thatched walkways.

Scenic views of natural ravines and wooded hillsides can be enjoyed from here. Each lodge features 3 or 4 en-suite bedrooms with African decor. The private open-plan lounge, as well as the bar area, extend to the welcoming sundecks.

Kingfisher Lodge
