The Gwahumbe Safari Lodge and Spa are easily accessible from both Durban and Pietermaritzburg in South Africa's scenic KwaZulu-Natal province.

Gwahumbe offers travellers an intimate and relaxed bush experience; this safari lodge is located in a malaria-free environment making it ideal for families travelling with children.

Accommodation ranges from ultimate luxury to a rustic bush camp from which guests may choose their preferred room choice. Guests have the choice of various housing options. When choosing to stay in a Standard Room, guests may include either only the breakfast, the breakfast, and dinner or the fully inclusive option. The fully inclusive rate is inclusive of accommodation, breakfast, lunch, and dinner as well as afternoon tea and a safari drive.

The self-catering Riverbend Lodge accommodates six guests; the Eagles Nest can accommodate a maximum of 8 guests while the Stone Chat can sleep, four guests. The bush camp consists of 5 A-frame thatch houses which can accommodate a total of 10 guests.

The Standard Room comes with either breakfast or the breakfast and dinner option. These hotel rooms feature en-suite bathrooms as well as a beautiful verandah from which to enjoy the surrounding views.

The Lodge's thatched conference venue can accommodate 50 conference delegates in various seating arrangements. Free WiFi is available in the meeting room as well as in the main lodge.

Day conference packages, as well as overnight conference packages, are available which include, amongst others, morning and afternoon tea breaks, lunch as well as the use of the meeting room and the standard conference equipment. Conference packages can also be tailor-made to suit the different requirements of corporate clients.
