The Kapama Southern Camp stretches over a vast area of the southern part of the reserve. The reserve forms part of the extended Kruger area covering over Thirty-Three Thousand Acres of African bushveld which is home to a great bounty of wildlife. The local Airport in Hoedspruit gives tourists direct access to the reserve from which the camp gives free shuttles in open safari vehicles to the camp.
Guests may pick their preferred accommodation option from three different room types which consist of the Standard Suites, the Deluxe Suites and the spacious Family Suites. Southern Camp has 15 suites feature en-suite bathrooms which are complete with picture windows from where the natural bushveld surrounding and bird life can be admired.
