The Amani Safari Camp, South Africa's Klaserie Reserve borders the Kruger as well as the Timbavati with no fences.

This safari destination can easily be reached via the Hoedspruit airport from where transfers to the lodge are done. It is about 42 km from the Enkhulu gate, which is only 13 km away from Hoedspruit airport.

Amani is in Private Reserve which forms part of the Kruger Park, the camp offers guests an authentic safari experience. Daily safari drives and bush walks provide wildlife enthusiasts with the perfect safari getaway in the heart of the untamed African bush.

Amani offers guests a choice of four air-conditioned, en-suite bedrooms with spacious over-sized twin beds and lavish linen. Guests may also book the entire camp and enjoy the self-catering option or book just one suite and mingle with like-minded campers in the shared communal areas. The rooms are bright and airy, featuring screened windows and ceiling fans. Doors lead into the main lodge providing easy access to the dining area. Each room also offers entrances to the outside and the splendour of the grounds.

The main lodge is home to a communal area with a large patio, comfortable lounge, and indoor kitchen facilities. A boma area provides the high point of the safari experience, and traditional story-swapping between guests occurs while the flames dance lightly in the fire. With a safari experience comes hot and lazy summer days and the small, outdoor swimming pool in the garden is provided to help provide guests with some relief as they take in the African sun.

Wildlife which is home to this area of the Greater Kruger National Park traverses between feeding and breeding grounds. The watering hole is a well-liked drinking hole for herds of elephants as well as a variety of other wildlife, big and small, and the lookout provides unobstructed viewing of the local wildlife.

Amani Safari Drives provide guests with excellent sightings including the 'Big 5' as well as the River Pride of Lions, which is a resident pride which lives in the area.

Bird watching enthusiasts enjoy this birder's paradise which is home to large herons and storks, bee-eaters and kestrels. The well-experienced rangers know the hunting sites and nesting grounds for birds of prey and ensure that safari drives include sightings of these particular places.

Guests can enjoy a personal meet and greet service at the Eastgate Airport, Hoedspruit. The camp offers guests who fly to the Eastgate Airport, a transfer shuttle bus to the lodge.
