Dining at Olare Mara Kempinski Masai Mara

Guests are spoilt with a choice of either dining indoors or outdoors when staying at Olare Mara Safari Lodge in Kenya, East Africa. There is a daily set menu for all meals, being breakfast, lunch and dinner, which may be enjoyed either by the pool, under canvas, on a beautiful wooden deck overlooking the Mara escarpment or by the camp lawns. As Olare Mara Kempinski Masai Mara believes in being eco-friendly, they have the largest organic garden in the conservancy where all the meals which are prepared are filled with the daily harvest, together with the poultry, meat and seafood selections. Game Drives

At Olare Mara Kempinski Masai Mara guests are offered two game drives per day, every day, for the duration of the stay.  Experienced and knowledgeable safari guides with qualifications will treat you to breathtaking scenery while learning about this wonderful Olare Orok Conservancy area.

Herbs of animals, wild cats, endless grassland, the large variety of bird species and the lovely resident lion pride. Night Game Drives are also available at Olare Mara Kempinski Masai Mara, which is an incredible experience where one can enjoy looking for the nocturnal animals hunting for their prey.

At Olare Mara Game Lodge in Kenya, guests are treated to two game drives per day, every day, for the duration of the stay.  

With experienced and knowledgeable safari guides with KSPGA (Kenya Professional Safari Guides Association) qualifications, and toured in 4X4 Land Cruisers.

Malaria Status and Animals

  • The Olare Orok Conservancy in Kenya boasts the most animals resident to the reserve than any other reserve in Africa.  This game reserve is very well known for their lion pride, which consist of the Motorogi Pride with 9 Lions, Ridge Pride with 9 Lions, Monika Pride with 22 Lions, Nguru Pride with one female and one cub and the Endoanal Pride with 17 Lions and 3 Cubs.

    Together with this impressive collection of these incredible Lion Pride are Natasha and her 2 Cheetah cubs, a family of 3 brother Cheetahs and the Leopard Acacia with her two cubs.  The Olare Orok Conservancy is a malaria-free reserve.

DIRECTIONS TO OLARE MARA KEMPINSKI MASAI MARA:

The Olare Orok Conservancy can be accessed by air; there are daily scheduled flights from Nairobi or guests can travel by road Via Narok, a four-wheel drive vehicle is recommended. Flying time to Ol Kimombo, the airstrip in the Masai Mara used for guests staying in the Olare Orok Conservancy is one approximately 1 hour from Nairobi. Travel time by road to the tented camp is 6 hours.
