Sanctuary Ngorongoro Crater Camp, Tanzania nestles in the Conservation Area within the Crater rim valley of Tanzania, East Africa.

The Sanctuary Camp being near the access road into the crater provides travellers with quick and easy access to the crater floor.

Ngorongoro is home to a great variety of wildlife which includes zebras, buffaloes, warthogs, wildebeest, hippos and elephants as well as a great population of predators - cheetahs, lions, hyenas, jackals, and the shy leopard.

Ngorongoro has ten classic safari tents each of which features en-suite bathrooms and indoor bucket showers accommodate guests in luxury and comfort during their African safari. The outdoor deck offers the perfect location where early morning tea and coffee complemented by biscuits can be enjoyed.

Visitors experience thrilling early morning and late afternoon safaris through the untamed African savannah. These are led by qualified rangers and trackers in closed 4 x 4 vehicles. These thrilling safari drives take place in the Ngorongoro Crater as well as on the rim.

One crater floor safari drive per stay is offered to guests. For guests who stay for two nights, they have the opportunity to also enjoy a Lake Manyara National Park safari drive on the second day. In addition to the wildlife experience, travellers may also enjoy cultural activities in a nearby Masai village.

The Ngorongoro Camp is situated in the rim valley of the Ngorongoro Crater within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The camp is easily accessible from the access road which leads to the crater floor. Guests reach the camp by road and air from the town of Arusha to the Manyara Airstrip.

Travellers are met at the airstrip and are transferred to the camp. The transfer from the airstrip to this safari camp takes about 45 minutes to the NCAA gate and then an hour safari drive to the camp itself.
