The landscape in the Serengeti has been formed by the changing climate and features savannah grasslands with acacia trees in the centre, open grass plains in the south, grasslands in the north and woodland plains to the west.
The Serengeti luxury tented camp in Tanzania offers ideal access to the annual migration as well as the ‘Big 5’, providing sweeping views of Moru Kopjes, the Lake Magadi and the endless plains of the surrounding savannah.
Serengeti Pioneer Camp consists of ten luxury Tents each of which offers en-suite bathrooms with flush toilets, showers, and vanity basins. The enclosed tents feature a canvas-covered floor which is complemented by carpets. A writing desk and stationery set are available to guests.
