Game drives allow guests to experience the excitement of the big five in their natural habitat. Open game viewing vehicles are offered daily through the Welgevonden Private Game Reserve in the heart of the Waterberg region in South Africa.
Tshwene Lodge features two lounges, a swimming pool, indoor and outdoor dining areas and a huge wooden patio boasting magnificent views of the reserve. The rooms at Tshwene Lodge have en-suite bathrooms, indoor and outdoor showers and private wooden, viewing decks.

The Lodge is a two and a half hour drive from Johannesburg. The reserve also has private two landing strips. Guests have to be picked up at the Welgevonden main gate by the Rangers.
Directions to the Tshwene Lodge, Welgevonden Game Reserve:
1. Take the N1 north to Pietersburg / Polokwane
2. At the Kranskop toll gate, keep left to Nylstroom / Marble Hall
3. At the T-junction turn left towards Nylstroom / Modimolle and continue straight on for approximately 70km to Vaalwater / Mabatlane
4. Continue through Vaalwater / Mabatlane on the Thabazimbi road for approximately 24km and turn left at the Welgevonden main gate.
On site parking facilities are provided for guests.
